Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between African King (ranked 2877 p4p, 1265 weight class) and Kotaro Kikuta (ranked 389 p4p, 179 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, African King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Kikuta!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in looking for a takedown. Kikuta tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kikuta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kikuta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King throws a nice inside leg kick.
King takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like African King has been cut.
King takes one on the chin but seems OK.
King slips a straight right by Kikuta.
Kikuta misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Kikuta, which made it look bad.
Kikuta sends King crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kikuta is motioning to the referee to let King up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
King is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kikuta fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks King square on the jaw! Damn, King is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kotaro Kikuta!
