Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zhan Dhelan (ranked 489 p4p, 760 weight class) and Taylor Jack (ranked 69 p4p, 94 weight class). Jack is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lucid Dreams. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Jack!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhelan blocks a low kick nicely.
Jack throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dhelan's head.

It looks like Zhan Dhelan has been cut.

Jack wants to counter the offense by Dhelan and move into the clinch position.

Dhelan closes the distance and clinches up with Jack, looking for a takedown. Dhelan pushes Jack against the cage but Jack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jack pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dhelan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jack defends well and Dhelan ends up having to push Jack into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dhelan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jack lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Dhelan pulls guard effortlessly.
Jack slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dhelan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jack tries to free his leg and advance position but Dhelan is retaining full guard.

Dhelan is looking for a triangle but Jack pushes his legs off easily.
Jack slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Dhelan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jack has passed into side control.
Dhelan tries to buck Jack off but Jack is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dhelan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Jack seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dhelan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jack's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jack's back!

Jack throws a looping overhand right but Dhelan ducks down to avoid it.
Dhelan shoots in for a takedown but Jack shows good takedown defense.
Jack was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Dhelan throws an overhand right that lands on Jack's shoulder, as Jack tries to avoid the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed right hand from Dhelan misses the target.
Jack steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Dhelan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Jack lands a big head kick that sends Dhelan tumbling to the mat! Jack takes a step backwards and waves Dhelan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jack lands a nice hook to Dhelan's body. Dhelan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
