Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tzu Chu (ranked 2691 p4p, 2674 weight class) and Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 107 p4p, 105 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Doctore's choice of entrance music: Metallica - . Oenomaus Doctore will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu lands a lovely overhand right.
Chu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doctore let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Doctore misses with a wild body shot.
Chu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chu throws a series of punches but Doctore moves out of range.

Doctore has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Doctore there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Doctore counters with a left to the body.
Chu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Tzu Chu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Doctore manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Chu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doctore's waist but Doctore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chu off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tzu Chu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Doctore's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Chu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Doctore manages to break the clinch.
Doctore displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chu throws out the jab.
Chu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Doctore at a distance.
Chu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Doctore has time to react.
