PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Bear (ranked 2512 p4p, 2115 weight class) and Bagel Boss (ranked 94 p4p, 71 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boss's choice of entrance music: 6 Foot 7 Foot. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bagel Boss!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss misses with a body kick.
Bear misses with a takedown attempt - Boss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bear looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bear with the ground and pound but Boss uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Bear throws a strike but Boss rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Boss gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bear takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bear looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Boss is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bear presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boss breaks from the clinch.
Boss lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bear backs up against the cage.
Boss scores with a nice strike.
Boss misses with a few strikes there.
Boss throws a nice inside leg kick.

Boss lands a big head kick that sends Bear tumbling to the mat! Boss takes a step backwards and waves Bear back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bear is rocked!

It looks like Chief Bear has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
OH! Bear has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Boss smells blood and charges in for the finish! Boss unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Bear sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bagel Boss!
A relieved looking Bagel Boss thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
