Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Furnum Pullum (ranked 1120 p4p, 2351 weight class) and Yuuto Yoshida (ranked 155 p4p, 288 weight class). Yoshida has chosen Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yoshida throws a lazy right hand but Pullum sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pullum throws a body punch but Yoshida moves out of range.
Pullum moves out of range of the body kick from Yoshida.
Pullum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pullum swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Yoshida looks to land a body kick but Pullum moved away.

Pullum rushes Yoshida and presses him up against the cage.

Pullum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Yoshida uses from the top position.

Yoshida avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pullum is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Yoshida has his hands clasped together but Pullum extends and breaks Yoshida's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pullum.
