The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delsarte throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tam tries to land a leg kick but Delsarte saw it coming and moves away.

Delsarte keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Peetu Tam has been cut.
Tam closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Delsarte steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tam. That one must have hurt.
Tam throws a hook but Delsarte blocks it.
Tam blocks a head kick by Delsarte.
Tam takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tam walks forward, straight into a front kick from Delsarte.
Delsarte lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Delsarte does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tam goes for a double leg but Delsarte avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Delsarte continues to drive forward.
