Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Nate Masvidal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffery Berwick!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Masvidal misses.
Berwick looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Berwick moves away from the strike by Masvidal.
Masvidal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Berwick throws out a counter right but Masvidal avoids it with no problem.
Masvidal moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Masvidal looks to land a combination but Berwick avoids it well.
Berwick unleashes a big counter combination but Masvidal bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Berwick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masvidal, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berwick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Masvidal misses with a looping left.
We've been told by Masvidal's head coaches at Shut Up & Train! {$1000} that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oooooh!!! Masvidal has knocked Berwick down with a huge combo! Masvidal steps away and waves a wobbly Berwick back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Berwick is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masvidal drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Berwick right on the button. Berwick goes down! Masvidal follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Masvidal gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Masvidal!
