Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zoo Six!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nibbs misses the shot to the body.

Six tests Nibbs's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nibbs throws a right hand that Six ducks under and follows up with a left that Six also avoids with ease.
A punch lands to the side of Nibbs 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Six gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nibbs swings for the body but Six moves out of range.
Six throws a counter combo.
Zoo Six seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Six lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Six connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Nibbs looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Six fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nibbs, pushing him back against the cage.

Nibbs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Six slaps away a takedown attempt from Nibbs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
It seemed like Six was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Zoo Six is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nibbs darts in looking for a takedown but Six gets double underhooks and turns Nibbs into the cage.

Six tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Nibbs presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nibbs is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Six to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Six shrugs it off.

Six is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Six really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nibbs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nibbs throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Poor strikes thrown by Nibbs there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Six can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nibbs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Christopher Nibbs will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nibbs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Six, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nibbs gets control of Six's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nibbs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nibbs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Six defends it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nibbs has his foot on Six's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Six works his way back into a safe position though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zoo Six showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Six pushes Nibbs against the cage. Six is working some dirty boxing. Six pushes off with a quick right hook! Nibbs goes down! Nibbs tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Six moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zoo Six!
After winning the bout, Zoo Six thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
