The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
ACE JR keeps the fight on the outside.

ACE JR clinches up against the cage.

Marsh has dropped down and is working for a takedown. ACE JR is trying to keep an underhook but Marsh manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Marsh not doing much here.
Marsh trying to control from half guard but ACE JR is working away.
Marsh is looking to advance position but ACE JR won't allow it.
ACE JR gets full guard.
Marsh trying to control but ACE JR is working from the bottom.

Marsh gets to his feet - ACE JR follows without any prompting.
ACE JR shoots in looking for a takedown. Marsh tries to sprawl out of it but ACE JR keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marsh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marsh stuffs the takedown attempt from ACE JR. ACE JR gets slowly back to his feet.

Marsh moves into the clinch.

Marsh drags the fight down to the ground.
ACE JR postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Marsh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marsh looks gassed!

ACE JR postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marsh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of ACE JR, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ACE JR has his foot on Marsh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marsh works his way back into a safe position though.
Marsh is pushing down on ACE JR's leg trying to pass to half guard. ACE JR is fighting to maintain full guard but Marsh has managed to sneak the leg through.

Marsh is trying for a kimura here. ACE JR looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Marsh wins by kimura!
