Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rory Schafer (ranked 2235 p4p, 1426 weight class) and Peguero Jean Philippe (ranked 303 p4p, 203 weight class). Schafer comes into the arena with Survival of the Fittest - Mobb Deep blaring out of the sound system. Philippe has chosen Chant vaudou haitien as his entrance music. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Peguero Jean Philippe!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippe misses with a hook
and Schafer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Philippe really felt that one!
Schafer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Peguero Jean Philippe has been cut.
Philippe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Schafer momentarily.
It looks like Rory Schafer has been cut.
Schafer lands a jab to the head.
Philippe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Philippe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Schafer! Philippe dives in looking to finish! Schafer is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
