The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NIGHTnite connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Toth's hands.
It looks like Adam Toth has been cut.
DANIEL D NIGHTnite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
NIGHTnite fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Toth as NIGHTnite shoots in.
Toth tries to keep at a distance but NIGHTnite has taken the fight into the clinch.

NIGHTnite escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Toth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Toth counters with a nice kick to the body.
Toth misses with a takedown attempt - NIGHTnite sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
DANIEL D NIGHTnite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Toth.
NIGHTnite fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Toth sprawls well initially but NIGHTnite persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

NIGHTnite postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Toth to stand up.
NIGHTnite lands a nice leg kick that just misses Toth's sensitive parts.
NIGHTnite moves into range and clinches up with Toth.
Toth tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. NIGHTnite smiles and moves away.

and Toth counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Toth.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that DANIEL D NIGHTnite will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Adam Toth's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Toth doesn't succeed with the takedown
and NIGHTnite counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by NIGHTnite.

NIGHTnite is squirming around, avoiding Toth's attempts to control the action.
Adam Toth has got the better of the ground game so far.
NIGHTnite tries to hold on but Toth pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
NIGHTnite sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Toth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Toth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. NIGHTnite swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Toth tries to free his leg and advance position but NIGHTnite is retaining full guard.
NIGHTnite is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
NIGHTnite lands with an uppercut that bounces Toth off the cage and back into rage.
Adam Toth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
DANIEL D NIGHTnite is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Adam Toth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
