The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn Jr throws a lazy uppercut

Benn Jr tries to bum rush Sidious with a series of wild strikes but Sidious uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sidious unleashes a big counter combination but Benn Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Sidious is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Benn Jr cracks Sidious with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Benn Jr throws a hook to the side of Sidious's head but Sidious sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Benn Jr sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That was a close round but I would say that Nigel Benn Jr will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Benn Jr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Sidious counters with a huge left! Benn Jr is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sidious isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Benn Jr from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sidious!
