And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruzinsky is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mei sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mei misses with a wild combination.
Mei closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gruzinsky quickly recovers to half guard.
Gruzinsky wants to stand back up but Mei manages to pass into side control.

Mei working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Mei wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gruzinsky keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gruzinsky wants to get back to his feet but Mei drags him back down.

Mei has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gruzinsky is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mei yanks on the arm and Gruzinsky is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mei.

After winning the bout, Pak Mei thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
