PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Austin (ranked 3652 p4p, 2668 weight class) and Macho Man Savage (ranked 133 p4p, 98 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Austin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to NCT 127 - Punch. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savage looking to score a takedown here. Austin is defending well but Savage drives through and ends up in Austin's guard.
Savage throws a big right hand that misses.
Savage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Savage lands a couple of digs.
Savage with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage throws a strike but Austin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Savage working for a triangle but Austin defends it easily.

Savage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Austin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Austin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Savage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Austin has managed to get both his arms back between Savage's legs - danger averted.

Savage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Austin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Austin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Savage has his feet on Austin's thighs here. He's pushed Austin off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Austin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
