Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Lesnar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Joestar defends well and Lesnar ends up having to push Joestar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

It looked like Joestar wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Joestar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lesnar defends it easily.
Joestar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lesnar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Joestar dives on top into guard.

As Lesnar tries to get set, Joestar tries to push him back and clinch up but Lesnar manages to avoid the attempt.
Lesnar doesn't manage to clinch there - Joestar circles away.

Joestar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Joestar wants it to stay on the feet.

Lesnar shoots in looking for a takedown but Joestar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lesnar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lesnar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lesnar wants to get up but he can't break Joestar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Joestar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lesnar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lesnar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Joestar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lesnar puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Joestar holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like John Lesnar has been cut.
