The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Rolando Gracie has been cut.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Lopez.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lopez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lopez swivels and escapes.
Lopez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Lopez.
Lopez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lopez.
Gracie takes a kick to the side of the head.

Lopez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Consuelo Lopez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lopez tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Lopez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lopez moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.

and Lopez counters with a good low kick that Gracie was not able to check.
Consuelo Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gracie. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lopez looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nice defenses there by Lopez.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lopez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
Gracie moves nicely into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lopez keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lopez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gracie misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lopez counters with a straight right hand.

Lopez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Lopez wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.

Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Lopez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lopez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Gracie wants to get back to striking at distance but Lopez won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Lopez lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Gracie is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lopez prevents Gracie from breaking the clinch.
Lopez connects with a knee to the head.
Gracie has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lopez regains guard immediately.

Lopez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gracie drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gracie as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lopez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gracie! Nice submission victory there!
