Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fugg Yu Upp!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu Upp swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Bateman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bateman is standing up over Yu Upp. Yu Upp looks to escape but Bateman dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bateman tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yu Upp takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yu Upp can do anything to dispel that myth.
