Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nils Hoglander (ranked 5014 p4p, 24998 weight class) and Joe Glover (ranked 497 p4p, 687 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Glover's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nils Hoglander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Glover!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoglander tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glover swivels and escapes.
Glover looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Glover finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Glover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Glover throws the kick towards the body but Hoglander avoids it.
Glover throws a one two combo.
Hoglander checks a leg kick.
Glover displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hoglander.
Hoglander lands a nice looking body kick.
Hoglander fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nils Hoglander. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Glover throws a head kick but Hoglander moves out of range.
Hoglander darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Glover throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Hoglander has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hoglander won't allow Glover to sweep him here.

Hoglander postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hoglander throws a big elbow that misses.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hoglander stays in close to Glover's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Glover connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hoglander's hands.
Hoglander shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Glover defends it nicely.
Glover misses the shot to the body.

Hoglander shoots in for a takedown but Glover shows good takedown defense.
Hoglander gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Glover scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hoglander fails to land the takedown.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hoglander.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Glover! But no joy.
Joe Glover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoglander takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
and Glover counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hoglander! He's just covering up as Glover starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Glover!
A less than humble Joe Glover misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
