Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franjo Boban!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boban moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Will Nelson has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Boban. Beautiful body shot.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boban paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nelson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nelson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boban counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nelson connects with an inside leg kick.
Nelson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Boban lands a big right hand that sends Nelson crashing to the mat! Boban stays standing though and waves Nelson back to his feet!
Nelson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boban lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nelson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Boban dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Franjo Boban!
Franjo Boban bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
