Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Watts (ranked 1513 p4p, 2058 weight class) and Donny Donowitz (ranked 179 p4p, 229 weight class). Watts's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Shook Ones - By: Mobb Deep. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donny Donowitz!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Watts.

It looks like Donny Donowitz has been cut.
Watts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Watts rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Donowitz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Donowitz looks to throw the jab but Watts is out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Watts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Donowitz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Donowitz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Watts tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Watts has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Watts misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Donowitz regains half guard.

Watts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Watts seems to be working for a kimura but Donowitz defends the submission attempt.

Watts shoots for a double leg takedown but Donowitz sprawls well. He's pushed Watts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Watts looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Donowitz swings wildly with an uppercut but Watts uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Watts is rocked!
Donowitz creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Watts with a big uppercut! Watts tries to clinch up but Donowitz pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Watts to the mat! Watts covers up and Donowitz unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
