Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lu Wai Ping (ranked 1296 p4p, 1820 weight class) and Crush Bandicoot (ranked 145 p4p, 192 weight class). Crush Bandicoot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lu Wai Ping! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crush Bandicoot! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandicoot jabbing away but nothing is landing. A lazy left from Bandicoot finds it's target. Bandicoot throws out a loose jab but Wai Ping uses good head movement to avoid it. An attempted straight right counter from Wai Ping misses the target. Lu Wai Ping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wai Ping moves away from the strike by Bandicoot. Wai Ping wants to slow Bandicoot down by chopping away at his legs. Wai Ping paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wai Ping slips under a jab from Bandicoot. Wai Ping lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Wai Ping tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bandicoot was well out of range. Poor timing from Wai Ping. Wai Ping lands a really nice looking cross but Bandicoot seems unphased.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wai Ping, as that shot connected.
Wai Ping throws an off balance right hand
and Bandicoot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Lu Wai Ping has been cut. Wai Ping tries to land a leg kick but Bandicoot saw it coming and moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Bandicoot checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bandicoot misses the body punch and Wai Ping counters with a thumping low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Wai Ping swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bandicoot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bandicoot throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wai Ping throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bandicoot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wai Ping. Bandicoot swinging wildly here.
Lu Wai Ping is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wai Ping throws an overhand right that lands on Bandicoot's shoulder, as Bandicoot tries to avoid the shot. Wai Ping cracks Bandicoot with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wai Ping throws a shot from downtown. Bandicoot moves away and avoids it. Wai Ping misses with a hook. Bandicoot ducked under it nicely. Bandicoot stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wai Ping. Bandicoot looks to land a right hand but Wai Ping moved out of range. Wai Ping showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bandicoot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bandicoot. Wai Ping does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wai Ping bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wai Ping looks to land a body kick but Bandicoot moved away. Bandicoot ducks under a wild hook from Wai Ping. Bandicoot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wai Ping was well out of range. Poor timing from Bandicoot. Bandicoot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wai Ping can pounce on him.
Bandicoot checks the leg kick. Wai Ping misses with a body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wai Ping ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A slow jab from Bandicoot misses its intended target. A quick step to the side and Wai Ping tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Wai Ping slaps away a takedown attempt from Bandicoot, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wai Ping getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wai Ping throws a low kick but Bandicoot moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wai Ping misses with an uppercut
and Bandicoot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wai Ping lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bandicoot's sensitive parts. Wai Ping darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bandicoot cracks Wai Ping with a good jab.
Wai Ping is rocked! Wai Ping misses with a body kick. Bandicoot throws out a counter right but Wai Ping avoids it with no problem. Oh Wai Ping is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bandicoot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wai Ping manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wai Ping fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bandicoot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wai Ping throws a body kick that misses and Bandicoot counters with a big right hand! Oh Wai Ping is in trouble here! Bandicoot follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crush Bandicoot! A relieved looking Crush Bandicoot thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Lu Wai Ping stepped up to the mic, saying 'Ill train hard and win fans '.
