Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tan Zan (ranked 228 p4p, 383 weight class) and Mattias Lundgren (ranked 33 p4p, 60 weight class). Tan Zan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tan Zan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mattias Lundgren!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundgren wants to clinch up but Zan keeps it at a distance.
Lundgren has a takedown stuffed.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lundgren has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Zan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zan throws out a loose jab but Lundgren uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lundgren is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lundgren wants to counter with a clinch but Zan pushes him away.

Zan is looking for a sweep. Lundgren is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Zan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Zan pushes Lundgren against the cage. Zan is working some dirty boxing. Zan pushes off with a quick right hook! Lundgren goes down! Lundgren tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Zan moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Mattias Lundgren was interviewed post fight and said 'Sometines your opponent getsthebetter of you, tonight was one of those nights and I was unprepared. To all my fans sorry, I'll come back stronger and to my opponent congratulations but I'll be seing you again soon I'm sure.'.
