Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Cowan (ranked 5343 p4p, 24914 weight class) and Leon Bowser (ranked 239 p4p, 286 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Cowan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon Bowser!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Bowser.
Decent striking displayed by Cowan there.
Cowan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cowan throws a sloppy head kick
and Bowser makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bowser throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cowan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bowser in his tracks.
Cowan misses with a jab, cross combination.
As Cowan backs off Bowser throws a huge counter combo but Cowan manages to avoid it all.
Bowser swings for the body but Cowan moves out of range.
Cowan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bowser swings widly with a right hand
and Cowan counters with a right hand to the body.
Bowser takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bowser walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cowan throws a big shot that misses.
Bowser throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cowan scores with a nice right hand.
Cowan scores with a jab.
A shot to the liver by Cowan. Beautiful body shot.

Cowan moves into range and clinches up with Bowser.
Cowan lands with a right to the head.
Cowan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Bowser's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cowan lands an uppercut.
Cowan scores with a shoulder strike.
Cowan managing to block the knees to the body from Bowser.
Cowan lands a damaging elbow.
Cowan scores with a nice hook to the head.

Bowser is rocked!
Bowser tries to pull guard but Cowan holds him up against the cage and eventually Bowser drops back down to his feet.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cowan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bowser is still on wobbly legs! Can Cowan finish him?

Bowser seems to have recovered his senses.
Cowan lands with a left to the head.
Cowan lands a shoulder strike.

Cowan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bowser throws a body punch but Cowan moves out of range.
Bowser throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cowan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cowan lands the left hand.
Mickey Cowan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bowser takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bowser ducks under a wild hook from Cowan.
Bowser scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd cheers as Cowan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bowser doesn't seem phased though.
Cowan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A quick step to the side and Cowan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cowan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bowser.

Cowan misses the jab.
Bowser slips a jab and a cross from Cowan.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cowan.
Cowan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bowser misses the shot to the body.
Bowser tries to bum rush Cowan with a series of wild strikes but Cowan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cowan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cowan misses with an uppercut. Bowser saw that one coming.
Bowser takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bowser is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cowan rather than just go for the knockout.
Cowan throws a lazy right hand but Bowser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mickey Cowan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Cowan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Cowan moves out of range as Bowser strikes.
Bowser is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bowser needs to keep his hands up - Cowan had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd cheers as Cowan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bowser doesn't seem phased though.
Leon Bowser is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bowser on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cowan dodges the punch combination from Bowser.
Cowan throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bowser's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Cowan dives in looking to finish as Bowser flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Cowan's strikes! Cowan is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bowser's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Bowser was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey Cowan!
A relieved looking Mickey Cowan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
