Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack McGregson (ranked 6202 p4p, 7087 weight class) and Lue Randle (ranked 639 p4p, 700 weight class). Jack McGregson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack McGregson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lue Randle! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Randle avoids it really well and circles away. A telegraphed right hand from Randle misses the target. Randle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Randle showed some decent athleticism there. McGregson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGregson is looking to improve his position.
McGregson is trying to maintain the position but Randle is very close to passing his half guard. Randle winds up and cracks McGregson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Randle drops an elbow to the side of McGregson's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randle slips a nice elbow through McGregson's hands, connecting with McGregson's forehead. McGregson has hold of Randle's hands but Randle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randle lands with a punch from half guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! McGregson actively working from the bottom here. McGregson has hold of Randle's hands but Randle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Randle lands a nice short elbow. Randle wants to pass the guard but McGregson is defending well. McGregson is looking to control Randle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McGregson avoid being mounted? McGregson tries to get to full guard but Randle has control of the leg. Randle is looking to advance position but McGregson won't allow it. Randle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McGregson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Randle landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Randle looks to score some points with some ground and pound. McGregson looking for submissions off his back. McGregson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Randle lands with a punch from half guard. McGregson has hold of Randle's hands but Randle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McGregson is rocked! Randle lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked McGregson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Randle jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
