Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dom Cruz (ranked 474 p4p, 230 weight class) and Little Kitty Sripituksakul (ranked 29 p4p, 15 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Little Kitty Sripituksakul!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz ducks right into an uppercut from Sripituksakul.
Cruz pushes Sripituksakul up against the cage in a clinch.
Sripituksakul misses with a punch on the inside.

Sripituksakul lands a nice shot to the body.
Cruz is trying to drag Sripituksakul to the mat but Sripituksakul just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cruz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sripituksakul prevents it.

Sripituksakul struggles to land a body shot inside as Cruz controls his hands.

A nice right hand lands inside from Sripituksakul.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sripituksakul lands a hook that snaps the head of Cruz backwards.
Cruz wants to take the fight to the mat but Sripituksakul manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dom Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sripituksakul tries to throw a body punch but Cruz avoids it by throwing Sripituksakul back against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sripituksakul has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sripituksakul tries to work over Cruz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sripituksakul blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've been hearing reports that Cruz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Cruz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sripituksakul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sripituksakul tries a body shot but Cruz blocks it.
Cruz scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Cruz fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cruz wants to stall.
Sripituksakul prevents a takedown attempt there.

Cruz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sripituksakul pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cruz throws a leg kick but Sripituksakul sees it coming and moves out of range.
Cruz shoots for a takedown but Sripituksakul saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cruz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sripituksakul's guard.
Sripituksakul manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cruz manages to get himself to full guard.

Cruz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sripituksakul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Cruz is tightening it up a little... Sripituksakul has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sripituksakul reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sripituksakul taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cruz!
