Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crush Bandicoot (ranked 1484 p4p, 1463 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 161 p4p, 156 weight class). Brah is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropped by Smoke Serpent. Crush Bandicoot had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crush Bandicoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Edgy Brah!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Bandicoot misses the target.
Brah drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bandicoot defends it well.
Brah avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bandicoot throws a left and a right that both miss

and Brah counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bandicoot!
Bandicoot's coaches at MONEY TEAM!!! have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Bandicoot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bandicoot stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Bandicoot counters with a stiff right hand.
Brah just misses with a punch to the body.

Brah closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bandicoot did well to prevent Brah getting side control.

Bandicoot is looking for a triangle here but Brah uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Brah remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brah is looking to take a break and control but Bandicoot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Edgy Brah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Bandicoot darts in looking for a takedown but Brah gets double underhooks and turns Bandicoot into the cage.
And Brah tries to counter it with a takedown but Bandicoot pushes his down on his head and steps out.

A head punch on the inside from Bandicoot fails to land.
Bandicoot tries to pull guard but Brah forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bandicoot drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brah gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crush Bandicoot. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brah postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bandicoot is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brah, into his guard.

Edgy Brah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I've got Brah winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
