Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sold Snaek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carter scores with a hook. Carter cracks Snaek with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Carter throws a nice looking combination but Snaek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Snaek. Carter connects with a looping right hand.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snaek gets a clinch. Snaek drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carter taking a breather. Snaek decides to pull guard. Carter trying to control but Snaek is working from the bottom. Carter wants to pass the guard but Snaek is keeping the position. Snaek tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snaek is pulling down on Carter's head to control his posture. Carter slips nicely into half guard. Snaek wants to control but Carter is keeping busy.
Snaek is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter wants to stand up but Snaek is controlling the position.
Carter thows a huge punch but Snaek dodges it nicely.
Carter wants to get back to his feet.
Snaek makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Snaek.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Snaek keeping full guard, as Carter tries to pass. Snaek wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice sprawl there from Carter as Snaek shoots in. A left and a right from Carter both land. Nice combination. Snaek blocks a jab. Carter missing with a left hand there. Snaek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Carter. No joy for Snaek on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sold Snaek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter throws a right hand that Snaek ducks under and follows up with a left that Snaek also avoids with ease. Carter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snaek moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter throws a body punch but Snaek moves out of range. Carter works over Snaek's head and body with a nice combination. Carter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carter looks gassed! A punch combination from Carter misses. Carter lunges at Snaek with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Snaek's hand. Snaek really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Snaek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground. Snaek wants to pass the guard but Carter is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snaek wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving. Snaek cracks Carter with a solid left hand. Carter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Snaek is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Snaek's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snaek can't escape the position.
Carter working for the choke. Snaek is trying to break free.
Carter is trying to stick to Snaek's back but Snaek is turning into Carter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Carter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Snaek. Snaek won't allow Carter to get back to his feet. Carter controls Snaek momentarily but Snaek frees himself. Snaek trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Snaek working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carter's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Carter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A punch combination from Carter misses. Carter misses with a looping left. Some wild striking there from Carter.
Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Carter misses with a wild combination.
Carter just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snaek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A jab from Carter finds it's way through Snaek's defenses. Carter is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter shoots for a takedown but Snaek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Snaek misses with a double jab.
Carter waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Snaek. Snaek tries to clinch up. Carter throws a big shot that misses. Snaek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carter circles away. Snaek wants to clinch. Carter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Snaek counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snaek. Carter throws a punch but it's blocked by Snaek. Carter gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Snaek.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sold Snaek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snaek drops down looking for an ankle pick but Carter pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carter swings and misses with a shot to the body and Snaek counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter is looking for a sweep. Snaek in side control, just content to control the action for now. Carter is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Snaek off and has taken his back! Carter looking for the choke but no joy. Snaek is in bad spot here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter trying to control momentarily.
Carter is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Carter is persistently looking for the submission but Snaek is defending it well.
Snaek is trying to break free.
Carter has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Snaek has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Snaek is really stuck here.
Snaek tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Snaek keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Snaek tries to hold on but Carter pushes him away. Snaek tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carter has hold of Snaek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Snaek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Carter avoids the attempt from Snaek to control. Carter is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Snaek is in real trouble.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sold Snaek will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Carter misses with an uppercut. Carter throws a combination that misses and Snaek counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Snaek lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Snaek working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Carter trying to control from the bottom.
Snaek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Snaek trying to pass the guard but Carter defending well. Snaek is working hard here to advance position. Carter is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snaek's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snaek's back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Snaek trying to control but not successfully. Sold Snaek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Snaek is in bad spot here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snaek turns into Carter and is now in his guard.

Carter trying to keep a closed guard but Snaek is proving a slippery customer.
Snaek sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carter's guard. Carter is looking to improve his position.
Snaek scoring with strikes to the body and head. Carter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter is looking to get back to full guard here but Snaek has managed to pass to side control instead. Snaek working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Snaek landing strikes from the mount. Carter is desperately trying to improve his position but Snaek has a good base and remains in mount. Snaek dominating with strikes here. Carter regains half guard. Snaek tries to pass to full mount but Carter defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter taking some punishment here, with Snaek in his half guard. Carter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Snaek. Carter is pressing down on Snaek's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Carter wants to sweep here but Snaek controlling him for the moment. Snaek trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Snaek throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Snaek working some strikes from top position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Snaek takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Snaek moves into range and clinches up with Carter. Carter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Snaek has hold of one of Carter's legs. Carter is fighting the takedown attempt but Snaek gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Carter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carter manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Snaek is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea. Carter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Carter moves to back control. Carter has the hooks in. Snaek is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that's the end of the fight! Sold Snaek showed his dominance in that final round. I think Snaek has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
