And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 7 losses; Karelin Pripyat!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pripyat clinches up with Silva Jr and pushes him back against the ropes.
Silva Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pripyat smiles and moves away.
Pripyat goes for a double leg but Silva Jr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Silva Jr continues to drive forward.
Silva Jr seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Pripyat moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva Jr pulls guard.
Silva Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pripyat wants to control from the top but Silva Jr keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pripyat tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva Jr is retaining full guard.

Pripyat slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Silva Jr prevents Pripyat from getting the reversal.
Pripyat is still trying to improve position.

Silva Jr is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pripyat is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pripyat flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Silva Jr anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pripyat and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Silva Jr slips an arm under Pripyat chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Silva Jr has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Silva Jr is squeezing on Pripyat like an anaconda would it's prey. Pripyat fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
