Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Russell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Reepo! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reepo throws a big shot that misses. Nice defenses there by Russell. Reepo throws the left hand but Russell avoids the punch easily. Russell pushes Reepo up against the cage in a clinch. Russell blocks an uppercut.
Russell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Russell pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Reepo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Reepo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Russell backwards. Reepo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Reepo digs a right hand underneath Russell's ribcage. Russell let out a lung full of air as it connected. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Russell. Reepo misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short uppercut from Reepo. A head punch on the inside from Reepo fails to land. Reepo lands a left hand.

Reepo swings wildly with an uppercut but Russell uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Reepo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Reepo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Reepo lands a hook to the side of the head. Russell lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Reepo lands a hook that snaps the head of Russell backwards. Russell breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Russell slips under a jab from Reepo. Russell instigates a clinch. Reepo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Reepo jumps guard and drags Russell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Russell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Reepo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Russell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Reepo pulls down on the head and he's put Russell to sleep! This one is all over!
