The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Sam does no damage.
Sam scores with a three punch combo!
Sam misses with a wild combination.
Rinda half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Sam fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rinda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rinda is looking to clinch.
Sam lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sahara Sam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sam swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rinda counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sam!

Rinda happy to just control the position for now.

Rinda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sam is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rinda is looking to take a break and control but Sam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rinda has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sam is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rinda yanks on the arm and Sam is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rinda.
