The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green dives in for a single leg takedown but Arawakan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Green tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arawakan smiles and moves away.
Green avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A slow jab from Arawakan misses its intended target.
Green shoots in for a double leg but Arawakan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Green sets himself, and Arawakan steps forward looking for the clinch! Green avoids it this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ed Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Arawakan's guard.
Green is pushing down on Arawakan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Arawakan is fighting to maintain full guard but Green has managed to sneak the leg through.
Green tries to pass to full mount but Arawakan defends it.
Arawakan tries to get to full guard but Green has control of the leg.
Green looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Arawakan tries to improve his position but Green has taken his back! Green has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Arawakan tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Green pushes Arawakan away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
