The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canoe tries to clinch up but Dew circles away and keeps his distance.
Canoe wants to clinch up but Dew keeps it at a distance.
Canoe tries to close the distance and clinch but Dew swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dew tries to keep at a distance but Canoe has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dew gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Canoe is trying to maintain the position but Dew is very close to passing his half guard.
Dew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Canoe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dew sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Canoe doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Dew paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Canoe - great work!
