PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lynn (ranked 83 p4p, 207 weight class) and Domenico Mazziotti (ranked 9 p4p, 23 weight class). Mazziotti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the party - Pop Smoke. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazziotti avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lynn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lynn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mazziotti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Some bone on bone action there as Mazziotti checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

It seemed like Mazziotti was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mazziotti might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
