Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knock Out (ranked 542 p4p, 793 weight class) and Evaristo Jesus (ranked 72 p4p, 92 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 40 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Knock Out! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evaristo Jesus! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Out misses with a series of wild punches.
Jesus throws an off balance right hand
and Out counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Evaristo Jesus has been cut. Jesus has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Out keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Out connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jesus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Out. We've been told by Out's head coaches at Alpha Brasil that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jesus throws a lazy body kick and Out counters with a nice right hand that sends Jesus toppling to the canvas! Jesus scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Out finish him?!
Jesus is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jesus throws a jab but it's blocked by Out. Jesus tries to score with a low kick but Out moves his leg out of the way. Jesus throws a poor cross that misses
and Out counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Evaristo Jesus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jesus misses with an uppercut. Out saw that one coming. Out misses the jab. Jesus scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out swats away the attempt to clinch by Jesus. Jesus throws a body punch but Out moves out of range. Jesus throws a shot from downtown. Out moves away and avoids it. Out swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Jesus has managed to clinch.
A short right from Jesus. Out manages to break the clinch.
Jesus connects with a body shot. Out misses with a looping left. Jesus scoring well with a low kick there.
Out misses with an uppercut
and Jesus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jesus clinches. Jesus lands a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jesus works on Out's body with a couple of short punches. Jesus lands a shot to the body. Out is breathing heavily. Jesus lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Out or not. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jesus is working Out over against the cage. Jesus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Knock Out has been cut. The fighters circle momentarily. Jesus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jesus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Outs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jesus cracks Out with an uppercut from hell and Out crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jesus's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Out is rocked! Jesus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jesus passes into half guard. Jesus slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jesus is pressing down on Out's thigh, looking to free his foot. Out is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jesus seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jesus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jesus not doing much here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Evaristo Jesus dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Out takes a jab right on the kisser.
Out keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Out lands a jab-cross combination. Jesus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Out looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jesus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jesus throws an overhand right that lands on Out's shoulder, as Out tries to avoid the shot. Jesus lands a front kick. A big left from Out misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jesus takes a swing at Out's ribcage but misses. Jesus looks to land a combination. Out sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jesus throws a looping overhand right but Out ducks down to avoid it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jesus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Evaristo Jesus seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jesus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A shot to the liver by Jesus. Beautiful body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jesus. Jesus is looking to land body kicks. Jesus throws a big shot that misses. Out throwing a counter right hand but Jesus manages to avoid it. Jesus lands with a nice body punch. Jesus lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jesus. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Jesus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Out looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jesus scores with a jab to the body. Jesus scores with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jesus, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Jesus misses. A nice leg kick from Jesus, right into the meat of the thigh.
Out takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jesus keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Out counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jesus misses the jab. Out has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jesus. The fighters circling - Jesus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. and Jesus counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Out! He's just covering up as Jesus starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evaristo Jesus! Evaristo Jesus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
