Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tenshin Nas (ranked 4083 p4p, 6923 weight class) and Maurits Assndrop (ranked 184 p4p, 274 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tenshin Nas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maurits Assndrop!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nas connects with a looping right hand.
Nas clinches up against the cage.
Nas lands a shoulder strike.
Assndrop breaks from the clinch.
Nas throws a jab but it's blocked by Assndrop.
Assndrop feints a counter leg kick.
Assndrop paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Tenshin Nas has been cut.
Nas on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Nas misses with a hook. Assndrop ducked under it nicely.
Nas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Assndrop on the side of the head.
Nas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nas takes a swing at Assndrop's ribcage but misses.
Nas misses with a looping right.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Nas.
Nas scores with a jab. Assndrop acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Assndrop drops Nas with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nas! Assndrop dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maurits Assndrop!
