Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Danaher (ranked 3273 p4p, 6843 weight class) and Marcus Alexander (ranked 414 p4p, 681 weight class). Marcus Alexander has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ethan Danaher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Alexander! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander gets caught flat footed, as Danaher shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Danaher slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Danaher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alexander is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Danaher staying calm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danaher working away. Danaher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alexander, who protects the arm well. Alexander really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Danaher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander is trying to improve his position. Danaher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alexander is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Danaher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alexander, who protects the arm well. Danaher wants to control but Alexander is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Danaher tries to move to full mount but Alexander actually manages to regain half guard. Danaher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Alexander moves into full guard.
Danaher wants to pass the guard but Alexander is keeping the position. Alexander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danaher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Danaher advances to half guard. Danaher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Alexander is just riding it out for now. Danaher eventually gives up the hold. Danaher wants to take a breather but Alexander is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Alexander has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Danaher is working away from the top position though. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Danaher is working for a kimura but Alexander is defending it quite comfortably.
Still in half guard, Danaher seems content to control. Danaher is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Alexander has managed to free his arm - good work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Danaher wants to free his trapped foot but Alexander is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ethan Danaher dominated that round. That's time! Danaher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Alexander slaps away a takedown attempt from Danaher, before circling back to the center of the mat. Danaher shoots in for a takedown but Alexander shows good takedown defense. Danaher takes one on the button.
It looks like Ethan Danaher has been cut. Alexander with a body punch. A glancing blow. Danaher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Danaher there as he acknowledges the shot. Alexander misses with a looping left. Alexander scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Alexander leaves Danaher with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Danaher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alexander lands a nice hook to Danaher's body. Danaher takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Alexander falls off balance throwing a combination
and Danaher holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Alexander breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alexander throws a jab when Danaher was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danaher closes the distance and clinches up with Alexander, looking for a takedown. Danaher pushes Alexander against the cage but Alexander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Danaher shoots in for a double leg but Alexander sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Marcus Alexander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Danaher ducks under a wild hook from Alexander. Danaher displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alexander throws out the jab. Ethan Danaher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danaher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Danaher half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Danaher shoots in for a takedown but Alexander shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Alexander looks to throw the jab but Danaher is out of range. Danaher seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A slow jab from Alexander misses its intended target. Danaher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Danaher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Danaher looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Alexander throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Danaher shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexander manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Danaher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Danaher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alexander keeping full guard, as Danaher tries to pass. Danaher looking to sit in guard and control but Alexander gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Danaher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Danaher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alexander can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danaher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alexander gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Danaher looking for a guillotine here but Alexander defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Danaher has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alexander is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Danaher. Alexander has control of an arm but Danaher manages to advance to Alexander's back! Alexander is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Danaher looking to break Alexander's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Alexander remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Danaher will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Alexander is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Danaher gets his way!
Danaher working for a choke but Alexander is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Alexander showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ethan Danaher's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Danaher shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Marcus Alexander seems to be getting the better of the standup. Danaher closes the distance and clinches up with Alexander, looking for a takedown. Danaher pushes Alexander against the cage but Alexander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alexander! But no joy. Nice jab there from Alexander. A jab from Alexander misses. Alexander cracks Danaher with a hook to the temple - Danaher is on wobbly legs here! Alexander swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Danaher falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Alexander wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marcus Alexander! A relieved looking Marcus Alexander thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
