Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Little is looking to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Little looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Little moves out of range of the body kick from Daniels.

Daniels fails with the takedown. Little tries to clinch up but Daniels circles away and keeps his distance. Little tries to clinch there but Daniels circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daniels. Joe Little has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Daniels. Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Little as he avoids it easily. Daniels throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Little's waist but Little gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daniels off to one side. Joe Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniels looks gassed! Little lands a two punch combo.

Little clinches but Daniels breaks the clinch and Daniels counters with a stiff right hand. Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daniels throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Little closes the distance but Daniels moves to the side and Daniels counters with a three punch combo that has Little backing up. Little nods at Daniels to acknowledge the strikes. Little wants to clinch. Daniels has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Little moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off. Daniels keeps the fight on the outside. Little closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Little tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Little pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Little tries to clinch but Daniels is having none of it. Daniels shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Daniels working Little over with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels winds up and cracks Little with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels content to control rather than advance. Daniels is keen to just control but Little is a slippery customer. Little is looking for a sweep. Daniels is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Daniels uses his free foot to push down on Little's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Little. Daniels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Little is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Little will probably get the nod. That's time! Little's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Daniels scores with a one two! Little had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Daniels looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Little tries to clinch The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. and Daniels counters with a left and a right that stings Little. A telegraphed right hand from Daniels misses the target. Little fails with an attempt to clinch.

Little tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Daniels counter with a right hand. Joe Little is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little scores with a spinning back kick! Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Daniels throws a series of punches but Little moves out of range. A shot to de liver by Little. Beautiful body shot. Little tries to clinch but Daniels moves out of range. Little tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daniels paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daniels tries to keep at a distance but Little has taken the fight into the clinch. Little escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daniels misses with a low kick as Little jumps back. Nice takedown defense from Little. No joy for Daniels on that attempt. Little shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Little showed some decent athleticism there. Little tries to stand and escape but Daniels is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Little is thwarting Daniels's attempts to control the position. Daniels manages to get to full guard.

Ooooh, that looks tight… Little is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Little and Daniels has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Little is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Daniels asserts his dominance and retains side control. Daniels is working to tighten is grip on Little's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Little has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Daniels is really squeezing tight and eventually Little passes out! Daniels breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
