Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Daniels counters with a three punch combo that has Little backing up. Little nods at Daniels to acknowledge the strikes.

Little closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Little is looking for a sweep. Daniels is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Daniels uses his free foot to push down on Little's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Little.
Daniels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Little will probably get the nod.

Daniels jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Little is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Little and Daniels has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Little is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Daniels asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Daniels is working to tighten is grip on Little's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Little has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Daniels is really squeezing tight and eventually Little passes out! Daniels breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
