Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaap Dolman (ranked 4527 p4p, 5272 weight class) and Grand Duke (ranked 154 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaap Dolman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Grand Duke! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dolman throws a leg kick but Duke sees it coming and checks it nicely. Duke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dolman.
Dolman appears to be looking for a big counter. Duke ducks under a wild hook from Dolman. Duke unleashes a big counter combination but Dolman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Duke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dolman fails to land with a series of punches.
Dolman misses with a leg kick and Duke counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Duke. A short body shot lands from Duke as the two fighters clinch.
Duke lands a nice shot to the body. A frustrated look appears on Dolman's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duke works on Dolman's body with a couple of short punches. Dolman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Duke pushes Dolman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Duke manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Dolman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dolman. Jaap Dolman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dolman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Duke checks it well. Jab from Duke. Duke staying out of range there. The fighters circle momentarily. Dolman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dolman throws a hook but Duke avoids it easily. Dolman throws a combination that misses and Duke makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dolman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Duke checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Duke moves out of range of the strikes. Dolman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dolman throws an off balance right hand
and Duke counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Dolman misses the jab. Duke is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Duke scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Dolman is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dolman throws out the jab. Duke swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Duke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dolman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Duke slips a jab from Dolman. Duke scores with a body shot.
Duke works Dolman's body with a nice hook. Duke lands with an uppercut that bounces Dolman off the cage and back into range. Duke lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dolman falls backwards - clearly groggy! Duke dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Grand Duke!
