Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Bunyan (ranked 5061 p4p, 25267 weight class) and Brodie Lee (ranked 163 p4p, 187 weight class). Brodie Lee has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paul Bunyan 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brodie Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bunyan drives through with a takedown into Lee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is trying to keep Bunyan in close.
Bunyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bunyan is aware though and is defending well.

Lee is looking for a triangle but Bunyan pushes his legs off easily.
Bunyan wants to stand but Lee has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bunyan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bunyan defends well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bunyan passes into half guard.
Bunyan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Lee is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bunyan presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Bunyan is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bunyan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Lee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lee wants to sweep but no luck.

Lee kicks Bunyan off and gets to his feet.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bunyan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lee is trying to defend but Bunyan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bunyan is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bunyan is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lee scores with a few weak punches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lee is doing well to control the position and prevent Bunyan from advancing to side control.
Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Bunyan will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Paul Bunyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brodie Lee.
Bunyan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bunyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bunyan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bunyan drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Bunyan off! Bunyan jumps back into Lee's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee pulls Bunyan in close to prevent any damage.
Bunyan throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

As Lee tries to get set, Bunyan tries to push him back and clinch up but Lee manages to avoid the attempt.

Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard.

Bunyan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lee uses it to pass to side control.

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bunyan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lee decides to stand back up. Lee steps back and let's Bunyan get back to his feet.

Bunyan gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.
Lee tries to break free but Bunyan pushes him back against the cage.
Lee tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Bunyan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bunyan misses the shot to the body.

Lee gets the takedown into side control.
Bunyan bucks up and tries to throw Lee off but instead Lee has got his back!

Lee is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Bunyan wants to escape the position.
Bunyan wants to get back to his feet.
Lee lands shots from the back.

Bunyan is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Lee just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Lee is trying to stick to Bunyan 's back but Bunyan is turning into Lee. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lee's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bunyan .
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
