The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SassyPants shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
SassyPants looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Pounder is refusing to be controlled, as SassyPants sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
SassyPants tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pounder knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
SassyPants is stalling here. Pounder is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! SassyPants seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pounder has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

SassyPants is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pounder's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Pounder postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for SassyPants to stand up.
Pounder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. SassyPants manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A left lands for SassyPants.
SassyPants scores with a kick to the body.
SassyPants moves out of range of the body kick.
Pounder tries to close the distance and clinch but SassyPants swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
SassyPants is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Pounder tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but SassyPants paws at him with a jab and circles away.
SassyPants fails with the takedown.

Child Pounder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pounder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from SassyPants.
Pounder throws a quick head kick that skims the top of SassyPants's head.

SassyPants breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pounder lands a nice looking kick to the body. SassyPants takes a step back to recover.

Pounder gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Pounder scores with a head kick.
SassyPants closes the distance and clinches up with Pounder, looking for a takedown. SassyPants pushes Pounder against the cage but Pounder circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Child Pounder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutus SassyPants.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from SassyPants.
SassyPants sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pounder tries to clinch up.
Pounder circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! SassyPants drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Pounder follows SassyPants to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Child Pounder!
