Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ron Fiddler (ranked 5174 p4p, 4643 weight class) and Vlad Tabares (ranked 589 p4p, 547 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Fiddler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vlad Tabares!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fiddler throws a head kick but Tabares moves out of range.
Tabares misses with a wild combination.
Tabares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fiddler moves away.
Tabares will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good shot there by Tabares.
Tabares throws a body shot but no joy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fiddler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tabares lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fiddler fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Tabares throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fiddler was covering up waiting for the punch and Tabares finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fiddler has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Tabares is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Fiddler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tabares throws a nice looking combination but Fiddler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

As Tabares tries to get set, Fiddler tries to push him back and clinch up but Tabares manages to avoid the attempt.

Fiddler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tabares bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fiddler throws Tabares to one side and escapes!

Fiddler has his feet on Tabares's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Fiddler manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tabares keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Fiddler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tabares closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tabares postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fiddler to stand up.
Tabares defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fiddler.
Tabares drives through with a takedown into Fiddler's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tabares controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fiddler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tabares's guard.
Tabares really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fiddler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fiddler gets to his feet. Tabares looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Vlad Tabares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fiddler tries to clinch up.
Tabares decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fiddler has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tabares is on him like a limpet, forcing Fiddler back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Fiddler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tabares smiles and moves away.
Fiddler gets caught flat footed, as Tabares shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fiddler is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tabares presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fiddler fails to pull guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tabares lunges at Fiddler with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fiddler's hand.
Fiddler tries to sprawl but Tabares drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fiddler manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Tabares connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tabares moves away from the strike by Fiddler.
Fiddler leaves Tabares with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fiddler tries to counter with a takedown but Tabares is quick to defend against it.
Ron Fiddler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fiddler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tabares counters with a right hand to the body.
Fiddler shoots in looking for a takedown. Tabares tries to sprawl out of it but Fiddler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tabares manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tabares changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fiddler tries to avoid it but Tabares manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fiddler to the ground. Fiddler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tabares keeps the fight on the outside.
Tabares closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Ron Fiddler has been cut.
Fiddler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tabares is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fiddler's half guard.

Tabares stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Fiddler seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Tabares manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fiddler on his heels. He'll look to pass Fiddler's guard now, I'm sure.
Fiddler has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tabares off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Tabares throws a series of punches but Fiddler moves out of range.

Tabares is breathing heavily.
Tabares has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fiddler to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tabares is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fiddler pulls down on the head and he's put Tabares to sleep! This one is all over!
