The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams works Finkelstein's body with a nice hook.
Finkelstein slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Doug Williams has been cut.
Williams connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've been told by Finkelstein's head coaches at Shao Kahns Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Finkelstein misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Vadim Finkelstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, jab by Williams - just one landing.
Williams looks to land a right hand but Finkelstein moved out of range.
Finkelstein lands a big uppercut and Williams crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Williams looks OK. Finkelstein waves Williams back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams drops his hands momentarily. Finkelstein doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Williams staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Williams doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
