Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silver Bullion (ranked 4755 p4p, 2753 weight class) and Colin Penn (ranked 485 p4p, 299 weight class). Penn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The End. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Silver Bullion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Colin Penn! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bullion tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bullion takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bullion tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Penn counter with a right hand.
It looks like Silver Bullion has been cut. Penn slaps away a takedown attempt from Bullion, before circling back to the center of the mat. Penn unleashes a big counter combination but Bullion bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Penn dips to his left and cracks Bullion with an uppercut! Bullion takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Penn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bullion tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Penn throws out a counter right but Bullion avoids it with no problem. Penn swats away the attempt to clinch by Bullion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bullion doesn't succeed with the takedown and Penn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bullion on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bullion was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn. Penn throws a poor cross that misses
and Bullion counters by moving into the clinch. Penn tries to throw a body punch but Bullion avoids it by throwing Penn back against the cage. Bullion is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Penn to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silver Bullion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bullion gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Penn is looking to break free of the clinch but Bullion has double underhooks. I was talking to Bullion's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Penn tries a body shot but Bullion blocks it.
Bullion fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bullion jumps guard but Penn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Penn working hard to break the clinch. Bullion is trying to pull guard but Penn turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bullion jumps guard but Penn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Penn lands a right hand. A short left from Bullion. Penn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bullion has him pressed against the cage. Bullion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Penn smiles and moves away.
Bullion with a poor takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bullion tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bullion scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Penn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silver Bullion's cut is getting worse. Penn thows a left - swing and a miss! Penn lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bullion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Penn swats him away and circles back towards the center. Penn waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Bullion. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Bullion to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Bullion is rocked! Bullion tries to land a sweep but no joy. Penn is stalling in the full guard. Penn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bullion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bullion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn preventing the sweep. Penn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Penn wants to pass the guard but Bullion is keeping the position. Bullion tries to land a sweep but no joy. Penn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Penn pushes down on Bullion's leg and manages to get into half guard. Penn works his way into full mount! Penn looking to ground and pound but Bullion is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn throws some wild stikes that Bullion manages to avoid easily.
Penn looking to control but Bullion is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Penn working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Penn works his way to his opponent's back.
Penn somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Penn is cranking Bullion's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bullion! He's tightened the choke and Bullion is tapping out!
