The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimaro slips a jab and a cross from Vernon.
Vernon works over Fujimaro's head and body with a nice combination.
We've been hearing reports that Vernon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vernon just misses with a punch to the body.
Fujimaro lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fujimaro throws a lazy right hand but Vernon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fujimaro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fujimaro is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It seemed like Fujimaro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Vernon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fujimaro doesn't seem bothered though.

Vernon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A quick step to the side and Vernon tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Issac Vernon.
I think Fujimaro has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
