Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacks Sole (ranked 1160 p4p, 1982 weight class) and Azor Ahai (ranked 166 p4p, 260 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jacks Sole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azor Ahai!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ahai throws a head kick but Sole moves out of range.
Ahai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sole looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sole thumps Ahai with a low kick.
Ahai misses with a double jab.
Sole moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sole, as that shot connected.
Sole stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sole tried to score with a low kick but Ahai checks it.
Sole lands a jab-cross combination.

Ahai is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sole misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sole fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ahai, pushing him back against the cage.
Sole misses with some punches.
Sole working aggressively here.
Sole doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sole wants to stall.

Sole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sole scores with a nice head shot.
Sole fails in his attempt to clinch.

Ahai avoids the head kick by Sole.
Ahai throws a big counter head kick but Sole avoids it with no problem.
Sole is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
A slow jab from Ahai misses its intended target.
It looked like Sole wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sole wants to clinch.
Ahai doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Sole misses with a jab to the body
and Sole takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sole looks to throw the jab but Ahai is out of range.
Ahai moves out of range as Sole throws a body kick.
A shot to the liver by Sole. Beautiful body shot.
Ahai misses with a looping right.
Ahai gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sole.
Ahai defending well as Sole loads up on a big left hand.
Ahai swings for the body but Sole moves out of range.
It looked like Sole was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ahai digs a good body shot into Sole's ribs.
Sole falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ahai counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ahai lands a nice looking body kick.
Ahai connects with an inside leg kick.

Sole throws a body punch but Ahai moves out of range.
Sole misses with a two punch combination.
Ahai throws out a counter right but Sole avoids it with no problem.
Sole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ahai moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ahai throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Sole gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ahai doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ahai pushes Sole back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ahai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sole fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sole tries to close the distance and clinch but Ahai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ahai.
Ahai has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sole.
Sole swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Ahai counter with a right hand.
Sole is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sole connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ahai momentarily.
Ahai on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sole misses with a few strikes there.
Ahai is looking for the big counter here.
Sole fails to land with a series of punches.
Ahai throws a low kick but Sole avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sole blocks a jab.
Ahai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sole.
Sole takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sole looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ahai throws the left hand but Sole avoids the punch easily.
Sole walks into a straight right hand from Ahai.
Sole has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Sole is rocked!
Ahai misses with a body shot.
Sole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ahai circles away quickly and effectively.
Sole slips under a jab.
A head kick misses from Sole.
Sole tries to clinch but Ahai is having none of it.
Ahai jabs at Sole's body.
Ahai misses with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ahai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ahai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ahai lunges at Sole with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sole's hand.
Ahai misses with a body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sole tries to clinch
and Ahai counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Sole has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Azor Ahai!
Azor Ahai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Jacks Sole stepped up to the mic, saying 'Shit happens, I'll learn from this.'.
