Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawse gets caught napping as Araujo dives in and scores a takedown. Rawse manages to retain guard.
Araujo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Araujo wants to pass the guard but Rawse is keeping the position.
Araujo is fighting to break Rawse's control of his arms but Rawse is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Araujo works over Rawse with some ground and pound from guard.
Araujo drops back looking for a leg! Rawse is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rawse manages to kick Araujo off! Araujo jumps back into Rawse's guard.
Araujo stands up over Rawse, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Araujo tries to free his leg and advance position but Rawse is retaining full guard.

Araujo is looking to pass into half guard but Rawse pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rawse is in guard.
Araujo looking for a triangle here. Rawse is fighting it but it looks tight! Araujo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rawse is tapping out - this one is all over!
