Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Holmes (ranked 2889 p4p, 4644 weight class) and Grande Finale (ranked 369 p4p, 550 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Grande Finale!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holmes tries to keep at a distance but Finale has taken the fight into the clinch.
Finale keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Holmes's efforts to push away.
Finale has Holmes pressed against the cage, preventing Holmes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Holmes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Finale has him pressed against the cage.
Holmes is trying to push Finale away but Finale has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Finale gets control of Holmes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Finale will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Finale wants to sweep but no luck.
Finale controlling the position.

Holmes is looking to stand up but Finale won't let him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmes trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Holmes gets to his feet - Finale follows without any prompting.
A cross from Holmes lands.
Holmes leaves Finale with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finale takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Finale shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Holmes as he jumps to the side.
Holmes swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Finale moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Holmes's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Finale manages to break the clinch.
Finale looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Finale walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Holmes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Finale moves away.
Finale throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Holmes counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Finale has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
