Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Lancaster (ranked 14 p4p, 109 weight class) and Giuseppe Hopkins (ranked 3 p4p, 22 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Oliver Lancaster has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Oliver Lancaster seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lancaster.
It seemed like Hopkins was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hopkins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lancaster misses with a body shot
and Hopkins counters with a good, hard body kick but Lancaster shrugs it off.

and Hopkins counters with a head kick that drops Lancaster to the mat! Lancaster scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Giuseppe Hopkins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
