Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Spar Ring! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blan Ket! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ket looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ket has eaten all the pies! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ring is on top in guard.

Ket wants to sweep but no luck. Ring wants to stand but Ket is controlling his posture from full guard. Ring won't allow Ket to sweep him here. Ket trying to control the position.

Ring bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ket's head.

Ket moves out of range of the strikes. Ring thows a body shot but no joy. Ket misses with a wild body shot. Ket drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ket accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ket trying to control the position from guard on top but Ring is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ring looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ket passes into half guard. Ring wants to improve his position but Ket is controlling well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ring looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ring on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ring tries to get out of the position. Ket works his way into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ket working the body and head with strikes. Ket trying to control the action but Ring is working from the bottom. Ket in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ket is putting a hurting on Ring here, landing some big shots from side control. Ring is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ket asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ket cracks Ring with a big elbow. Ring is trying to control Ket's posture but Ket avoids it. Ring takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Ket scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ring to see if he's OK. Ring knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ket on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ring gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Ring wants to improve his position but Ket is controlling well.
Ket looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ring with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ket thows a huge punch but Ring dodges it nicely.

Ket has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ring is looking to control Ket's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ring avoid being mounted? Ket seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ring does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ket shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ket was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ket working Ring over with strikes here. Ket lands a nice shot to the head. Ket is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ring can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Blan Ket dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ring throws a combination. Ket tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ket tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ring was well out of range. Poor timing from Ket. Ring looks to land a left hand but Ket moved out of range nicely. Ket throws a body punch but Ring moves out of range. Ket moves out of range of the strikes. Ring swinging wilding here.
A telegraphed right hand from Ring misses the target. Ket blocks a jab. Ket displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ring throws out the jab. Ket gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ket slips a straight right by Ring. Ket closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ring taking some punishment here, with Ket in his half guard. Ket throwing shots but Ring is blocking nicely. Ring is looking to escape. Ket is thwarting Ring's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ket seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ring is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ket looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ring with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ket wants to control but Ring is keeping him busy. Ring taking some punishment here, with Ket in his half guard. Ket uses his free foot to push down on Ring's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ring. Blan Ket has got the better of the ground game so far. Ring is looking to get to half guard. Ket dominating with strikes here. Ring is squirming around, avoiding Ket's attempts to control the action. Ket connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ket unloading with bombs! Ring tries to lock up and control but Ket gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ket lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ket lands a heavy elbow. Ket prevents Ring from getting the reversal. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. A nice elbow there by Ket. Ket breaks from Ring's wrist control and lands an elbow. Ket working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ket looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Ring is rocked! Ket is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ring can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Ring is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ring is in a horrible position here. Ket smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ket can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ring is looking to escape. Ket looking to finish Ring with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ring! Ring seems to have got his legs back now. BOOM! Ket connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ket is landing with some decent strikes but Ring is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ring's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Ring trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Ket landing punches. Ket scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Blan Ket showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ring fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ket on the side of the head. Ket fails to land the takedown. Ket changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ring tries to avoid it but Ket manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ring to the ground. Ring escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Spar Ring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blan Ket. Ket fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ring fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ket on the side of the head. A telegraphed right hand from Ket misses the target. Ket shoots for a takedown but Ring saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Spar Ring is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ring misses with a few strikes there.
Spar Ring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ket shoots in looking for a takedown. Ring tries to sprawl out of it but Ket keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Ring manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ring cracks Ket with a right hand to the side of the head. Ring connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Spar Ring has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ring works Ket's body with a nice hook. Blan Ket is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Blan Ket comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ket winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
