Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russell takes the fight into the clinch.

Russell has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Green regains guard immediately.
Green wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Green not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Russell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Green is aware though and is defending well.

Green seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Russell for as long as he can get away with.

Green manages to capitalize on a mistake by Russell to take his back!
Green just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Russell is looking for a sweep. Green is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Russell strikes from the bottom but Green passes into mount!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Russell tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Russell to the ground. Russell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Russell drives through and clinches with Green against the cage.
Green goes for a takedown in the clinch but Russell prevents it.
Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Russell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Green tries to pull guard but Russell holds him up against the cage and eventually Green drops back down to his feet.
Green has had enough of the clinch but Russell keeps him there for the moment.

Green manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Russell manages to get himself to full guard.

Green uses his free foot to push down on Russell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Russell.

Russell wants to hold on but Green pushes him away.

Green is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Russell is surviving well by controlling Green's body position as best he can.
Russell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Russell is squirming around, avoiding Green's attempts to control the action.

Russell wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

I would just about give that final round to George Russell.
I think Russell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
